Quality Inspector I
Morgan Steel LLC
A Quality Inspector I performs basic inspection duties under supervision. This requires basic blueprint reading skills, performing measurements accurately with basic measuring tools, and learning Morgan Steel's processes and quality standards.
Primary Responsibilities- Perform basic inspections on raw materials, component parts and finished goods
- Read simple blueprints
- Measures parts using tape measure, micrometer, protractor and calipers
- Document inspection results accurately
- Identifies obvious non-conforming material
- Follow written work instructions
- Work safely and maintain organized inspection areas
- 0-1 year manufacturing experience
- Basic math skills
- Willingness to learn inspection tools and techniques
- Positive "can-do" attitude
- Ability to work independently with guidance
