Pay Rate: $25.00–$28.57/hour Location: Memphis, TN Schedule: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, with some flexibility around start/end times Duration: 3-month contract

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to support inspection and quality activities within a regulated manufacturing environment. This position will perform first article inspections, capability studies, and Gage Repeatability & Reproducibility (Gage R&R) studies while ensuring products meet established specifications and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect raw materials, components, assemblies, semi-finished products, and finished products according to inspection procedures, drawings, and specifications.
• Perform moderate First Article Inspections (FAI) and capability studies.
• Conduct Gage Repeatability & Reproducibility (Gage R&R) studies.
• Utilize attribute and variable measuring equipment, gauges, and mating parts to evaluate product conformity.
• Review product documentation to verify compliance with specifications and Quality System Regulation (QSR) requirements.
• Support product qualification and validation activities.
• Accurately document inspection results and identify products that do not meet specifications.
• Promote and maintain established quality standards.
• Follow all Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures.
• Cross-train in all aspects of the Receiving Inspector function.
• Assist with training other associates on inspection processes and procedures.
• Perform additional quality-related responsibilities as assigned by Quality Management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in quality inspection, receiving inspection, manufacturing, or a related environment preferred.
• Familiarity with measuring equipment, gauges, technical drawings, and product specifications preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately follow written procedures.
• Ability to maintain accurate documentation and work within established quality standards.
