Summary/Objective
Workers’ Compensation Paralegals work alongside attorneys and other paralegals, assisting individuals who have been injured on the job to file and pursue claims for workers’ compensation.
Please note that this is a full-time, on-site position with a 37.5-hour work week.
Responsibilities:
- Electronic filing of claims and appeals
- Handle correspondence with claimants, medical offices, and agencies
- Extensive phone contact with agencies, clients, medical providers, and insurance companies
- Review incoming mail
- Prepare a case for hearings
- Assist attorneys with post-hearing follow-up
- Other duties as assigned
