• Conduct both routine and advanced clinical lab tests, spanning chemistry, hematology, immunology, and beyond, adhering to established protocols.
• Evaluate results for precision, troubleshoot discrepancies, and ensure that lab instruments undergo necessary maintenance and calibration.
• Assist with the collection of specimens and the preparation of samples whenever necessary.
• Maintain thorough documentation of all procedures, engage in training for new staff or students, while actively contributing to the maintenance of quality standards in the lab.
• Uphold a pristine, safe working environment compliant with all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent degree in allied health in conjunction with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• Completion of ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) required within the first year of employment.
• Ongoing maintenance of certification is expected throughout employment.
