What Awaits You

• Execute routine and complex clinical laboratory examinations across various disciplines including chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more-all in accordance with defined protocols.
• Evaluate results meticulously for precision, troubleshoot discrepancies, and undertake preventative maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Assist in the collection of specimens and prepare samples for examination when required.
• Document all laboratory procedures meticulously, provide training and guidance to new staff or students, and help maintain standards of laboratory excellence.
• Uphold a clean and safe working environment, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health qualification, with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS), to be obtained within the first year of employment.
• Maintain current certification throughout employment.
