Lab Assistant

Labcorp is hiring a Lab Assistant in Burlington, NC for overnight shift work (Tuesday-Saturday, 10pm-6:30am). The role involves receiving, preparing, and processing clinical specimens while maintaining laboratory equipment and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Receive, sort, and prepare clinical specimens for testing and analysis
- Perform data entry and scanning of specimen and patient information
- Monitor and maintain laboratory equipment; perform minor maintenance
- Troubleshoot specimen-related issues and maintain supplies
- Maintain clean and safe work environment while documenting records
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Comfortable handling biological specimens
- Basic computer knowledge and data entry skills
- Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
- 3+ months specimen processing or medical/laboratory experience (preferred)
