Staff Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Dallas, TX. In this role, you will support day-to-day accounting operations, including cash and banking activities, revenue deferrals, month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial reporting. You will collaborate with internal teams and accounting partners while ensuring accurate financial records and compliance with internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Perform cash and banking accounting activities, revenue deferrals, and expense accounting.
• Complete month-end close activities, including journal entries and variance analysis.
• Prepare and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
• Analyze cash balances and resolve unreconciled items.
• Support daily and weekly cash clearing activities.
• Partner with internal and external auditors during audits and financial reviews.
• Identify and implement process improvements.
• Complete special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 2+ years of accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles.
• Experience with SAP systems preferred.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Word skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively.
