Production Assembly Supervisor

Altelix designs and manufactures weatherproof electrical enclosures and accessories. We are currently looking for an experienced Assembly Supervisor to join our team in Boca Raton. This role is responsible for receiving work orders and production schedules from the Production Control Coordinator and ensuring assembly activities are executed accurately, efficiently, and on schedule on the production floor. This position also plays a key role in improving workflows, workstation organization, and overall assembly efficiency in our clean, air-conditioned production facility.

****This position is on our factory floor. Please do not apply if you do not have manufacturing and team leadership experience.

Duties include:

· Receive work orders and production schedules from the Production Control Coordinator and communicate priorities clearly to assembly personnel.

· Supervise day-to-day assembly floor operations to ensure work is completed accurately, safely, and on schedule.

· Monitor workflow, staffing, and material readiness to keep production moving efficiently.

· Assign work to team members based on production needs, skill level, and schedule requirements.

· Verify assemblies are built according to drawings, bills of materials, work instructions, and quality standards.

· Train, support, and oversee assembly employees in proper methods, workmanship, safety, and productivity.

· Identify production bottlenecks and implement improvements to workflows, workstation layouts, and assembly methods.

· Coordinate with other departments to resolve production issues, shortages, rework, and schedule changes.

· Track job progress and report status, delays, and completion updates to management.

· Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient production area while promoting accountability and continuous improvement.

Applicants must possess the following qualifications to be considered for the position:

· Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment is required.

· Prior supervisory, lead, or team leadership experience in production or assembly is strongly preferred.

· High School diploma or GED required.

· Ability to read drawings, work orders, bills of materials, and written production instructions.

· Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple jobs and priorities.

· Good problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset.

· Ability to communicate clearly with production staff, coordinators, and management.

· Strong attention to detail, quality, and on-time completion.

· Proficient with hand and power tools and general assembly methods.

· Must be able to work overtime as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Hours: 7:30am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday

Wage: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

· Mechanical knowledge: 3 years (Required)

· Day Shift (Required) 7:30am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday
