School Assistant

Overview School Assistant role at BASIS Ed in the Phoenix Metro Area, starting ASAP. This position may be part-time or full-time, with pay ranges from $16–$18/hour. Part-time positions are non-benefited. Responsibilities Monitor students to ensure safety Oversee students’ behavior during lunches, recesses, passing periods, and before/after school programs Report any unruly behavior to school management Inform supervisor of damages to school property Respond to emergencies (injuries, food allergies) with urgency Exercise sound judgment in carrying out duties Assist in front office support, as applicable Maintain regular, full, predictable attendance Supervise individual students and/or groups during structured and unstructured times Qualifications Required: High school diploma or higher Required: Valid Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card Preferred Qualifications Experience in a school or child care environment About BASIS Ed The BASIS academic program is consistently ranked among the top programs nationally and is competitive on an international scale.
