The Diverse Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. In this role, you will leverage your expertise to support clients through a variety of mental health challenges. Your primary responsibilities will include performing assessments, creating tailored treatment plans, and delivering therapeutic interventions aimed at enhancing the emotional and psychological well-being of individuals, couples, and families.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients to understand their mental health concerns, including their emotional, psychological, and social histories, using standardized assessment tools and clinical interviews.

• Formulate clinical diagnoses based on assessment results and develop personalized, evidence-based treatment plans that address the specific needs and goals of each client.

• Provide a range of therapy services, including individual counseling, group sessions, and family therapy, utilizing appropriate therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Mindfulness-Based therapy, among others.

• Implement crisis intervention strategies and provide immediate support for clients undergoing acute mental health crises, ensuring their safety and stabilization.

• Document and maintain accurate, secure, and confidential client records, encompassing treatment plans, progress notes, and clinical assessments, adhering to ethical standards and federal regulations.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team that may include psychiatrists, social workers, and healthcare professionals to deliver holistic care to clients.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, available treatment options, community resources, and advocate for clients' rights and best interests.

• Stay abreast of current best practices in mental health care through continuous learning opportunities, including workshops, webinars, and professional development activities.

Qualifications\n

• Must hold a valid state license as either a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a closely related field is required.

• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic skills, and familiarity with psychological testing instruments.

• A minimum of two years of relevant experience providing therapeutic interventions in a clinical setting.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to build rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with team members.

• Proficiency in modern technology for remote service delivery and client management.

• A commitment to ethical practice and professional development in the mental health field.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, experience in a clinical setting, particularly in community health, is preferred. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and digital record-keeping systems is also an advantage as we integrate technology into our client services.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary ranging from USD 85,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
