Finance Operations Manager

We are a growing manufacturing company seeking a hands-on Finance & Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day financial and operational administration of the business.

What You'll Do

You will own the financial and operational backbone of the business, including:

• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and bookkeeping activities.
• Lead month-end and year-end close activities in partnership with an external accounting firm.
• Develop financial and operational reports that support business decisions.
• Proactively manage customer collections and maintain healthy receivable balances.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and oversee inventory transactions.
• Create and manage purchase orders and supplier records.
• Ensure accurate financial and operational data across business systems.
• Identify process improvements and implement more efficient workflows.
• Develop stronger operational controls, reporting processes, and documentation.
• Work directly with company leadership to improve operational efficiency and support continued business growth.

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years of experience in accounting, finance, business operations, office management, or a related role.
• Experience managing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, payroll, and general bookkeeping.
• Experience supporting inventory, purchasing, or manufacturing operations.
• Strong knowledge of accounting systems, ERP software, and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working in a small, fast-paced business where ownership and initiative are valued.
• Ability to improve processes, create structure, and drive accountability.

Preferred Experience

• Manufacturing or product-based business experience.
• Experience with inventory management systems.
• Experience working with external accountants during month-end close.
