About the Role:

As a Registered Nurse - Full-Time Charge Nurse (7A-3P Shift) at Avir at Parkview, you will be responsible for leading a team of nursing professionals in delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic rehabilitation setting. You will be responsible for coordinating patient care, supervising staff, and ensuring that all clinical policies and procedures are followed. Your expertise will help our patients regain strength, confidence, and independence, and your leadership skills will inspire and motivate your team to provide exceptional care.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of nursing professionals in providing high-quality patient care

• Coordinate patient care activities, including developing and implementing patient care plans

• Supervise and evaluate the performance of nursing staff, providing feedback and coaching as needed

• Ensure compliance with all clinical policies, procedures, and regulations

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and staff satisfaction

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient care plans

• Provide education and training to patients, families, and staff on various topics related to patient care

Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, with at least 1 year of experience in a rehabilitation setting

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

• Strong clinical skills, with the ability to assess and prioritize patient needs

• Ability to work a 7A-3P shift, with occasional flexibility to cover shifts as needed
