Business Analyst

Business Analyst IIINakupuna Companies is seeking a Business Analyst III to support in writing Epics and Features as part of one of our Agile Software Delivery Teams. Frequent, open communication with both the Program Manager and the Army client will be an essential aspect of the role, and the Business Analyst will employ excellent writing skills across important reports and participate in meetings. While the Business Analyst III will be proficient in solving the most complex problems without extensive assistance from other staff-members, collaboration with the numerous Agile Teams and other parts of the program will be a common aspect of the position.ResponsibilitiesThe following reflects management's definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. Management may assign additional duties and responsibilities to this job at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other reasons.Support User Story writing and management of ART BacklogCollecting data from agile teams, creating, maintaining, and delivering project metrics and data inputs to CDRLs.Responsible for supporting agile data collection, administering agile project tools, and compiling reports.Provides project coordination and analysis for managers.Performs work with a high degree of latitude.Provides leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to subordinate a group.May act as lead or first-level supervisor.QualificationsEducation and Experience: Bachelor's degree with 6-8 years of experience within the federal government, DoD, Army, or IC and/or private sector preferred.Skills/Qualifications: Certifications in SAFe for Teams or SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager preferred.Clearance Requirements: This position requires a current Secret clearance. Must be a U.S. Citizen.Work Location: Work location will be in the D.C., Maryland, Virginia region.The Nakupuna Companies use a market-based compensation strategy to ensure that our employees are compensated within applicable market ranges commensurate with multiple factors, including but not limited to the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements, and position location. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $145,000.00 (annualized USD). The salary range displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Nakupuna Companies total compensation package for employees.
