Job Summary
Speech Language Pathologist Outpatient (SLP OP) Mission Bay. This position involves providing speech therapy services within an outpatient setting, focusing on adult and pediatric patients with a variety of communication and swallowing disorders. The role includes the ability to float to other healthcare facilities in the organization as needed.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift, 8-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: CA Speech-Language Pathology license, American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification, minimum of 2 years of experience in acute care, childrens hospital, pediatric rehabilitation, or pediatric intensive care unit, with specific experience in Modified Barium Swallow Study in both adults and pediatrics, total laryngectomy, tracheostomy/ventilation, speaking valves, and competency in dysphagia management for children and adults.
• Additional Responsibilities: Conducting Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluations of Swallow (FEES), interpreting Modified Barium Swallow Studies, managing patients with nervous system disorders, traumatic brain injury, laryngectomy, and pediatric outpatient care.
• Preferred Qualifications: Clinical experience in an academic medical center.
• Certifications: Valid CA license, BLS, CCC-SLP.
• Start Date: 10/19/2026, with an end date of 03/22/2027.
