• Evaluate results for accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and carry out the maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Support with specimen collection and prepare samples efficiently for testing.
• Detail every procedure with precision, provide training to new employees or students, and uphold the highest quality standards in the lab.
• Foster a clean, safe workspace while ensuring compliance with all regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree, coupled with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within the first year of employment.
• Maintain current certification throughout your tenure.
