As a contract professional, you'll work part-time, dedicating three days a week (8 hours per day) serving at two academies and one high school near Saint Johns, FL. You'll play an essential role in fostering independence and skill development in students, collaborating closely with educators and families.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Valid and current Occupational Therapist license in the state
• Prior experience working with school-aged children, particularly in educational settings
• Knowledge of therapeutic interventions specific to the academic environment
• Strong ability to adapt approaches to meet varying student needs and Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Excellent organizational, documentation, and communication skills
• Team-oriented attitude with an understanding of interdisciplinary cooperation

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct therapy and assessment to students in accordance with their IEPs
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and goals
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure comprehensive care
• Participate in IEP meetings, progress reviews, and staff consultations
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation of evaluations, progress, and outcomes
• Travel between two academies and one high school during the workweek
