Step into a rewarding, short-term opportunity as a dedicated Occupational Therapist supporting elementary and middle school students during a 5-week maternity leave. This full-time contract assignment runs from August 4, 2026, through September 4, 2026, allowing you to make a meaningful impact while experiencing the collaborative atmosphere of two vibrant school communities.

In this role, you'll provide vital OT services across Ocean Palms Elementary and Landrum Middle, helping students build essential life and learning skills. Your expertise will ensure continuity of care and progress for students during this important coverage period.

Qualified candidates should bring:

• Active and current OT licensure in Florida
• Prior experience working in school settings (elementary and/or middle school preferred)
• Strong understanding of IEPs, assessments, and school-based therapy approaches
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with teachers, staff, and families
• Adaptability and organization to manage a dynamic caseload across multiple school sites
• Passion for empowering students and supporting their academic participation

Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting assessments and crafting individualized treatment plans
• Delivering therapy sessions and interventions per student IEPs
• Documenting progress and maintaining compliance with school and state requirements
• Consulting and collaborating with educators and parents for integrated support
• Participating in IEP meetings as needed
• Contributing positively to a supportive and student-focused environment
