Clinical Laboratory Technologists & Technicians

Position Overview Technicians may be eligible for up to $10,000 sign on bonus or $10,000 in Tuition Forgiveness. Technologists may be eligible for up to $20,000 sign on bonus or $20,000 in Tuition Forgiveness. Potential relocation assistance is available. Primary work location: Core Laboratory, UHS Wilson Medical Center. Work shift: Rotational. Weekly hours: 40. Compensation range: $30.58 - $45.86 per hour, depending on experience. Responsibilities Perform routine and specialized tests in CAP and NYS accredited laboratories. Monitor lab processes while verifying results in a timely manner. Collaborate with an experienced team focused on integration, automation, collaboration, and efficiency. With six years’ experience, may direct daily activities of a section in the absence of the supervisor, following UHS Hospital, Laboratory and Departmental Policies, NYSDOH, CDC and UHSH Infection Control policies. Qualifications Associate degree in clinical laboratory technology or equivalent (NYS Certified Clinical Laboratory Technician) for technicians. Bachelor’s degree in clinical laboratory technology or equivalent (Grandfathered NYS Licensed CLT) for technologists. One year of experience working in a clinical laboratory preferred. License/Certification requirements: NYS Certified Clinical Laboratory Technician for technicians; NYS Licensed Clinical Laboratory Technologist for technologists.
