Beta Technology, Inc. located near Katy, TX off Katy Freeway is currently seeking a Warehouse Shipping Clerk. This position will be partly in the office and partly in the warehouse to support the company’s warehouse and shipping work flow while working in a small company with a fast paced environment.
The shipping clerk's primary goal is to ensure that the daily shipping of merchandise flows smoothly to our customers. In this important role, the Traffic Coordinator must be detail oriented, have a high degree of organization, be prompt in managing work flow and courteous to people.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

 Schedule outbound and inbound shipments with carriers
 Maintain required documentation to ensure accurate BOL’s, receipts and other operations expectations are satisfied
 Match incoming shipments with Purchase Orders and verify accuracy
 Prepare timely & accurate Freight Quotes
 Maintain database of daily activity
 Ensure that drivers receive proper paperwork for load pickup and delivery
 Make sure loads are scheduled in a timely and accurate manner
 Maintain accurate paper work and electronic online systems
 Ensure load ready times are met to avoid any detention charges
 Help in resolving inventory problems
 Help pull orders when necessary-Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
 Organize warehouse
 Receive merchandise from vendors
 Verify accurate billing from carriers
 Prepare and expedite freight claims

QUALIFICATIONS

 High School Degree
 Experience using computers for shipping
 At least two years verifiable experience doing job duties listed
 Word processing and excel spread sheet knowledge
 DOT and HAZMAT shipping knowledge preferred
 Forklift license is preferred
 Must be able to successfully pass a background screening
