About the Role Mountain West Bank is looking for a Branch Manager II for our Eagle Team in Eagle, Idaho. This full‑time, 40‑hour per week, salaried position oversees all operations of a full‑service branch office, including supervising staff, ensuring high‑quality customer service, managing deposits and consumer lending, and maintaining branch performance and profitability. The branch manager reports to the Area Manager and is responsible for community representation, staff development, and operational compliance. Job Duties and Responsibilities Ensure all office staff conduct themselves in a professional, courteous manner and provide the highest quality customer service. Manage and motivate staff to promote products and services, set measurable sales, service, and productivity goals, provide feedback, and recognize accomplishments. Hold regular meetings to motivate staff, share ideas, and discuss successes. Encourage professional development and create opportunities for personnel growth. Handle hiring, promotions, and terminations in line with HR guidelines, evaluating performance and recommending salary adjustments. Assign duties to meet workload fluctuations and schedule vacations; prepare staffing schedules to meet customer service demands. Work with customers to resolve operational, lending, or deposit servicing needs and sell and cross‑sell banking products. Direct the branch's consumer loan portfolio, soliciting new loans whenever possible. Collaborate with the Customer Service Manager to maintain operational functions; ensure the branch building is secure and safe. Prepare a business development plan, assess marketing results, and execute community events to promote the bank. Comply with applicable laws and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act, Patriot Act, and Office of Foreign Assets Control. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to motivate branch staff to increase sales and cross‑sell productivity and deliver consistently high‑quality customer service. Strong planning, organization, delegation, and control of branch operations. Highly developed sales and customer communication skills with a demonstrated record of sales leadership. Analytical skills for loan analysis and customer qualification. Five or more years of retail banking or related experience. Knowledge of banking compliance, policies, and procedures. Knowledge of local market conditions. Excellent understanding of banking operational policies and procedures. Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills. Computer skills including MS Word and Excel. Preferred Knowledge, Skill, Ability Prior cash handling experience. Experience with Jack Henry core operating system. Knowledge of MWB products and services. Previous management experience. Work Environment Must routinely perform work in a climate‑controlled shared indoor area with moderate noise level. Physical Demands Requires repeated use of hands, finger, grasp, handle, and routine computer operation for 6–8 hours per day; occasional standing, walking, lifting up to 10 pounds, and ability to climb or descend stairs in an emergency. Must maintain regular, reliable attendance. What We Offer Compensation & Benefits The starting salary is dependent on experience and location. An extensive benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance; health savings account; Employee Assistance Program; retirement plans (401(k) and profit‑sharing); short‑ and long‑term disability; education and training benefits; paid time off and holidays. Full‑time employees receive 6 paid holidays and PTO accrual at 0.0745 per hour, up to 240 hours per year.
