Registered Nurse (RN) Float Pool Specialty: Nursing Assignment Length: 13 Weeks Shift: Nights (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) Start Date: Quick Start Available Open Positions: 8 Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join a Float Pool team supporting multiple patient care areas, including: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Step-Down Unit Cardiac Telemetry Medical-Surgical Stroke/Neuro Unit Cardiac Progressive Care (CPCU) The ideal candidate will have strong ICU and cardiac care experience and be comfortable floating to Medical-Surgical units as needed. Responsibilities Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams. Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders, nursing standards, and applicable regulations. Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation. Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans. Provide patient and family education regarding treatment plans and care needs. Participate in quality improvement and shared governance initiatives. Support continuity of care across departments and units. Apply critical thinking skills to ensure patient safety and optimal patient outcomes. Escalate clinical concerns appropriately through the chain of command.
