Job Opportunity: Chief of Orthopedics

Our organization, in partnership with a prominent healthcare system serving the diverse communities of Queens, New York, is on the lookout for a physician leader to take on the role of Chief of Orthopedics. This position is pivotal in ensuring the delivery of exceptional care for all musculoskeletal conditions.

• Oversee the administration, planning, organization, and overall management of the Orthopedics Department.
• Develop and implement a strategic vision focused on quality, growth, and operational efficiency.
• Assist in creating new clinical programs tailored to the needs of the community we serve.
• Provide comprehensive orthopedic care and services to patients across all age groups.

• Must possess an MD or DO degree and be board certified in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Valid New York State medical license, DEA registration, and Medicaid number are required.
• Strong clinical skills, teaching experience, and excellent communication and interpersonal abilities are essential.
• Previous experience in management or leadership roles, particularly in academic medical centers or public health systems, is preferred.

This role includes a faculty appointment with the affiliated medical school, which will be aligned with your credentials, experience, and qualifications.
