Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on mild steel and stainless steel materials ranging from 7 gauge to 1/4 inch
• Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and weld callouts
• Complete production welding assignments while maintaining quality standards
• Grind, deburr, and finish welded components
• Cut, prepare, organize, and stage materials for fabrication projects
• Operate grinders, cutting tools, and fabrication equipment
• Use tape measures and shop math to verify dimensions and fit-up
• Assist with fabrication and shop support tasks as needed
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace
• Follow all company quality and safety procedures

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of MIG welding experience or a welding-related degree
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols
• Experience welding mild steel and/or stainless steel
• Strong measuring skills with the ability to use tape measures accurately
• Ability to perform grinding, cutting, and finishing operations
• Stable work history and strong attendance record
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Apple Valley, MN.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $33.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
