ProCare Therapy is seeking qualified Behavior Intervention Specialists (BIS) to join a highly regarded school district in the Minneapolis, Minnesota area (Anoka region) for the 2026–2027 school year. This full-time, school-based role involves supporting multiple school sites while collaborating with special education teams to implement effective behavior strategies. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with experience in behavior intervention, special education, or BCBA-level support.
Position Overview:- Full-time, school-based role for the 2026–2027 school year
- On-site position supporting multiple school locations (3–4 sites)
- Collaborative role working alongside another BIS and SpEd administration
- District-based support position across various student populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Consult and implement positive behavior intervention supports (PBIS)
- Support development and implementation of behavior plans and interventions
- Collaborate with special education staff, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams
- Provide guidance and support across multiple school sites
- Assist in behavior assessments and progress monitoring
- Promote structured, safe, and supportive learning environments
- Ensure compliance with IDEA and Minnesota education guidelines
Required Qualifications:
- Background in Special Education or Behavior Analysis required
- BCBA certification OR Special Education teaching credential preferred
- Experience in school-based behavior intervention strongly preferred
- Must be comfortable supporting multiple school sites
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- RBT certification alone does not qualify for this role
