This full-time contract opportunity, running from August 10, 2026, through May 21, 2027, offers a chance to work 37.5 hours per week with elementary-aged students, including those in both resource and self-contained environments.


In this role, you will focus on enabling students to participate meaningfully in classroom activities by promoting skills such as fine motor coordination, visual-motor integration, sensory processing, and self-care. Your impact will be felt through modifying tasks or environments, conducting thorough diagnostic and evaluation testing, and delivering clear, insightful reports based on your observations and assessments. Collaboration is key-your ability to communicate effectively with both parents and team members will help develop and maintain IEP objectives and necessary accommodations, ensuring every student receives the support they need.


Qualifications:

• Possess or be able to obtain an Illinois state license
• Strong communicator and collaborative teammate
• Adaptable, flexible, and strong problem-solving abilities
• Previous school-based occupational therapy experience is a plus
