Data Entry Specialists - Excel (Temporary)
Pay: $25.00/hour
Location : Fort Lauderdale, FL
Type : Temporary, through the election cycle
Are you fast, accurate, and great with Excel? We're hiring detail-focused Data Entry Specialists to support a busy Human Resources team during the election cycle. You'll enter, track, and reconcile high volumes of personnel records where accuracy and deadlines matter.
What you'll need
- Typing speed of at least 50 WPM, with accurate data entry
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (see below)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Word
- The ability to learn HR systems, databases, and web-based applications quickly
- A sharp eye for errors, duplicates, missing information, and conflicting records
- Strong organization and problem-solving skills in a high-volume, deadline-driven setting
- Clear written and verbal communication
- Discretion with confidential personnel information
- Good judgment about when to escalate questions to HR supervisors
- The ability to follow established procedures, working both independently and with the team
- Reliable, punctual attendance for the full assignment

- Working with large data sets: sorting, filtering, cleaning, and formatting
- Formulas, functions, and lookups
- Excel tables, conditional formatting, and data validation
- Finding duplicates and reconciling spreadsheets against each other
- Building summaries and tracking reports, including PivotTables
- Checking formulas and calculations for accuracy
Nice to have
- Experience in HR data entry, personnel administration, staffing, onboarding, payroll support, or records processing
- Experience maintaining large tracking spreadsheets and reconciling data from multiple sources
- Experience with high-volume staffing or temporary workforce administration
- A background in government, elections, or the public sector
Schedule
Extended hours and workdays are required as needed during the election cycle, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Before you start
All candidates must pass a criminal background check and drug screening before beginning the assignment.

Business casual office setting.
