Redi Services is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our growing payroll team. If you enjoy solving problems, value accuracy, and take pride in delivering payroll correctly and on time, we'd like to meet you.
As our company continues to grow, you'll help support payroll operations across multiple companies while ensuring compliance with federal, state, union, and certified payroll requirements.
What You'll Do
- Process full-cycle payroll for multiple companies
- Administer multi-state, union, and certified payrolls
- Ensure compliance with payroll laws, tax regulations, and collective bargaining agreements
- Process garnishments, deductions, and benefit withholdings
- Prepare payroll reports, audits, and reconciliations
- Partner with HR, Operations, and Finance to resolve payroll issues
- Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes and efficiency
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of full-cycle payroll experience
- Multi-state payroll experience
- Experience with union and Certified Payroll (DBA/DBRA)
- Knowledge of payroll tax regulations, garnishments, and compliance
- Strong Excel skills
- Experience with Paylocity, UKG, or similar payroll systems
- Experience in construction, industrial services, manufacturing, or government contracting
- Knowledge of job costing or general ledger
- Ownership, follow-through, and exceptional attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Innovative and fresh approaches to solving problems
- Strong sense of integrity and discretion when handling confidential information
