Job Description

The Same Day Surgery Nurse is accountable for general nursing care to surgical inpatient and outpatient populations. In this role, you will use critical thinking skills, professional judgment and leadership to anticipate, plan, direct and evaluate the care of the patients provided by a team of ancillary personnel. Here at Insight, we strive to treat patients with the compassion and respect they deserve. You will play a pivotal role in providing reassurance to the patient and family that they have received proper care instructions and what to expect. You will utilize advanced practice skills, clear and effective communication, and overall compassion to meet the unique needs of each patient. This position collaborates with other members of the healthcare team to ensure patient care plans are implemented and monitored for effectiveness. This position requires 8 hour shifts Monday-Friday (7AM- 3:30PM). Requirements Benefits $38,000 to $52,000 salary based on experience Shift Monday - Friday/7am - 3:30pm
