Growing together.You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.Primary Responsibilities:Design, code, test, document, and maintain high-quality and scalable big data solutionsHelp drive agile processes and mentor junior level members of the teamResearch, evaluate, and deploy new tools, frameworks and patterns to help build a sustainable big data platformIdentify gaps and opportunities for improvement of existing solutionsDefine and develop APIs for integration with various data sources in the enterpriseTranslate customer requirements into solution designMake accurate development effort estimates to assist management in project and resource planningCollaborate with management, quality assurance, architecture, and other development teamsWrite technical documentation and participate in production supportParticipate with prototypes as well as design and code reviewsKeep skills up to date through ongoing self-directed trainingThe ideal candidate will be a self-starter who can learn things quickly, who is enthusiastic and actively engagedYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.
