Job Description Minimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required. Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Rush Springs for the 2024-2025 school year. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive educational environment, helping students enhance their communication skills and achieve their academic goals. Key Responsibilities Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct comprehensive evaluations to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results. Therapeutic Intervention: Provide direct therapy to students, focusing on improving speech, language, and communication abilities. Utilize evidence-based practices to deliver effective interventions. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support students' needs. Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of IEP goals and objectives. Progress Monitoring: Track and document students' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary. Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with school and district policies. Education and Support: Provide training and resources to staff and parents to support students' speech and language development. Stay current with best practices and advancements in the field of speech-language pathology. Qualifications Educational Background: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Licensure: Current Oklahoma state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred. Experience: Previous experience in a school setting is preferred but not mandatory. Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
