• Shift: 12-hour shifts, 7 days/week (including day shifts)
• Schedule: On-site orientation required 1 day prior to first shift
• Hours/week: Approximately 36 hours per day, variable shifts
• Employment Type: Locum / Temporary
• Licensing/Certifications: Emergency Medicine Board Certified or Board Eligible (required)
• Experience: Prior Emergency Medicine experience preferred

What You'll Do:

• Provide emergency medical care for an average of 36 patients per day
• Manage inpatient and outpatient cases with support from ED RNs and an APP
• Document patient details efficiently using Meditech EMR
• Collaborate with hospital staff and support teams to deliver quality care
• Adapt to the fast-paced ED environment to meet ongoing patient needs
• Cover approximately 3 admissions per shift
• Complete onsite orientation required 1 day before initial shift

What You Need:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
• Valid Michigan medical license or ability to obtain license quickly
• At least 1 year of emergency medicine experience preferred
• Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently in a high-pressure setting
