Board Certified - Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner- Emergency Medicine

Job Details:

• Locum Tenens coverage needed for specific dates: 8/21-8/25, 9/7-9/9, and 9/21-9/24, with ongoing potential
• Shift coverage hours: 12:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Onsite orientation required one day prior to the first scheduled shift
• Average of 36 patient encounters per day in the emergency department
• Average of 3 admissions per shift
• Ability to treat patients of all ages is required
• Provides both inpatient and outpatient emergency services
• Support staff includes ED Physicians and ED RNs
• Charting via Meditech EMR system
• Board certification or board eligibility required; fellowship not required
• BLS certification required
• Trauma Level 3 facility
• Active Michigan license required no IMLC accepted
• Credentialing timeframe is approximately 30 days, dependent on provider document submission speed
• Temporary privileges granted in needed situations
• Travel and lodging assistance available if needed; hospital can arrange accommodations
• Nearest airport is CMX, approximately 4 miles from the hospital
• Only one provider will be accepted for this need
