Accounting Manager POST NUMBER: 482400

Vaco is partnering with a well-established and growing organization to hire an experienced Accounting Manager who wants to take that next step in their career! Our client is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations, drive process improvements, and lead a high-performing accounting team. In this role, you will be responsible for financial reporting, month-end close activities, compliance, budgeting support, and maintaining strong internal controls. Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with GAAP/IFRS standards.
• Manage and mentor accounting staff, driving team performance, process improvements, and adherence to internal controls and company policies.
• Prepare, analyze, and present financial statements and variance reports to senior leadership to support strategic decision-making.
• Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance and minimize risk.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required.
• CPA designation is preferred.
• 5 years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, month-end close processes, and internal controls.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with excellent analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.

Compensation:
$120k-140k base salary
Schedule: 5 days on site located in North Scottsdale
