Vaco is seeking an Accounting Manager for a highly reputable construction company in North Phoenix , AZ!

Responsibilities include:

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and journal entries
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax laws, and internal policies
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance and performance feedback
• Collaborate with other departments to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, internal controls, and reporting efficiency

Requirements:

• 7 years of accounting experience  including leadership (required)
• Degree in Finance or Accounting (required)
• Experience in revenue recognition, job costing, WIP, sales tax, or construction accounting (required)
• Ability to go on site 5 days a week
• Salary $120-135k
