Credentialing Coordinator

Description

This role supports the onboarding process, maintains compliance with regulatory standards, and facilitates timely reimbursement by managing credentialing and enrollment workflows.

Verify Provider Credentials

Check licenses, certifications, education, training, and work history.

Confirm board certifications and malpractice history.

Reviews pending credentialing records to determine if a provider is ready for their application to be reviewed by the credentialing review board

Additional Skills & Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.

2+ years of experience in healthcare credentialing or provider enrollment.

Familiarity with credentialing systems (e.g., CAQH, PECOS, Availity).

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare compliance standards.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mountain View, CA.

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
