Ocean Import Intern

Job Description Ensure timely and accurate movement of freight and information, while providing exceptional customer service within the Ocean Import Department. Position Schedule Flexible weekday schedule (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM), totaling approximately 20–30 hours per week Major Duties and Responsibilities Document Handovers to CHB teams and confirmation of clearance In Terminal and Street Dwell reports and follow up Customer Service Inbox requests Send it now - Invoices Sending Accessorial notifications to our customers when they occur for drayage. Minimum Qualifications High School Degree or equivalent required Successful candidates must pass a background check Must be legally authorized to work in the United States Must not require future sponsorship for employment visa Fluent in English, both written and verbal Must have the ability to work overtime in support of the department’s needs Must be able to commute to the city of Hawthorne, CA Comfortable with numbers and basic mathematical skills Comfortable working in a professional business environment.
