Regional Sales Manager - Industrial

This highly visible, field-based role is ideal for a hunter-oriented sales professional with experience in channel management, specification sales, and project-based selling within the water, wastewater, utility, industrial, and infrastructure markets. The Regional Sales Manager Will Be Responsible for the Following:Develop and execute strategic territory growth plans across a multi-state Midwest region.Manage and expand relationships with distributors, manufacturer's representatives, contractors, engineers, utilities, municipalities, and industrial end users.Identify, pursue, and develop new project opportunities within water, wastewater, utility, municipal, and industrial markets.Drive specification sales efforts and influence projects from early design through final product purchase.Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline while managing forecasts, project activity, and territory performance metrics.Deliver product presentations, technical training, and customer education programs to increase product adoption and market share.Collaborate cross-functionally with product management, marketing, operations, and sales leadership to support strategic growth initiatives.Represent the organization at industry trade shows, conferences, and customer-facing events to strengthen market presence and relationships.Following Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Sales, or a related field.5+ years of successful sales experience within industrial, infrastructure, construction, utility, water, wastewater, or related markets.Demonstrated success selling through distribution channels and managing channel partner relationships.Proven ability to develop new business, grow territory revenue, and increase market share.Experience navigating project-based sales cycles involving contractors, engineers, municipalities, utilities, and industrial customers.Strong communication, presentation, relationship-building, and business development skills.Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.Ability to travel extensively throughout a large multi-state territory.Preferred:Experience within water infrastructure, piping systems, flow control products, industrial plastics, utilities, or related construction markets.Background selling to distributors, consulting engineers, municipalities, utility organizations, or industrial manufacturing facilities.Experience with specification selling and influencing projects from design through execution.Existing industry relationships across the Midwest water, wastewater, utility, or infrastructure markets.
