Surgical Technologist - Outpatient Clinic and Main OR

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shifts: 3x12-Hour (06:30 - 17:00)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to work in an outpatient clinic environment, with the potential to float to the Main OR as needed. This position requires experience in scrubbing and circulating surgeries, providing essential support to surgical teams in various procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures by preparing and maintaining the sterile field.
• Perform scrub duties for a variety of surgical cases, including but not limited to gynecological, orthopedic, and robotic surgeries.
• Collaborate effectively with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Manage surgical instruments and ensure their availability and sterility.
• Participate in patient preparation and post-operative care as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist.
• Required certifications: ACLS and BCLS.
• Experience with robotic surgeries preferred.
• Must have a valid CA state license in hand prior to submission.
