JPS Composite Materials (JPS) is a manufacturer of high-performance fabrics servicing the aerospace, military, commercial, and industrial markets. The company's materials are found in a multitude of composite matrix applications including commercial aircraft interiors, radomes for commercial and military aircraft, ballistic applications for military vests and vehicles as well as electronic applications including automobile sensors and telecommunication antenna. JPS has over 60 years of experience in our markets and is the primary supplier of these products in North America.

The corporate headquarters are in Anderson, SC with manufacturing facilities located in North and South Carolina.

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Supervisor to lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of supervisory or team leadership experience and a proven ability to drive operational excellence, foster employee engagement, and achieve organizational goals. This role requires strong communication skills, sound decision-making abilities, and a commitment to creating a positive and productive work environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading, coaching, and mentoring team members to achieve individual and departmental objectives.
• Monitoring daily operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and compliance with company standards.
• Setting performance expectations and conducting regular performance evaluations.
• Identifying training and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities.
• Addressing employee concerns, resolving conflicts, and promoting a collaborative workplace culture.
• Coordinating schedules, assigning work, and managing workloads to meet business demands.
• Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and implementing process improvements as needed.
• Ensuring adherence to company policies, safety regulations, and operational procedures.
• Communicating organizational goals, updates, and expectations effectively to staff.
• Collaborating with management and cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives.
• Must be willing and able to work weekends.

Qualifications include:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience leading and supervising teams.

• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
