Job Description

This role involves working with CNC machines, including Haas CNC Mills, VTL, and VTM, as well as utilizing live tooling, 3D modeling, and CAD/CAM software. Candidates should be experienced in using inspection equipment such as micrometers and calipers and possess strong math skills. The ability to read blueprints and perform basic computer tasks is essential. The job requires lifting up to 35 pounds consistently, wearing safety shoes, and standing for more than 4 hours. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, and candidates must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Perform machining tasks using CNC Mill, VTL, and VTM.
• Conduct set-ups and changeovers (5-10 per day).
• Ensure measurements and maintain tight tolerances.
• Utilize micrometers and calipers for precision measurement.
• Input and edit blueprint/diagram information into machines.
• Work independently and manage time effectively.

Essential Skills

• 2+ years of machining experience.
• Experience with Haas Machinery; Okuma experience is a plus.
• Proficient in using micrometers and calipers.
• Strong math skills and ability to read blueprints.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with Advanced One-touch IGF programming.
• Familiarity with SolidWorks and Fusion360.
• Knowledge of high-speed machining.
• Previous experience with grinding equipment and Fanuc controls.
• Trade school education or certifications are preferred.

Work Environment

The facility employs approximately 200 people across three shifts in a manufacturing environment with various departments, including a main warehouse, machine shop, and production rooms. While some areas of the facility are climate controlled, not all are. The work culture is team-oriented, encouraging coachability and a willingness to learn.

This is a Permanent position based out of Lewis Center, OH.

The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $58240.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
