Key Responsibilities Conduct detailed assessments of clients' mental and emotional health, employing standardized tools and your clinical expertise. Formulate and implement individualized treatment plans by evaluating clients' needs while ensuring their voices are integral to the planning process. Facilitate both individual and couples therapy sessions, using therapeutic techniques to improve communication, resolve conflicts, and promote emotional healing. Continuously review and adjust treatment plans to reflect clients' evolving needs and progress, ensuring that therapy remains relevant and effective. Maintain meticulous client records, including progress notes and treatment plans, while adhering to compliance requirements for confidentiality and documentation. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and external healthcare providers to deliver comprehensive care, addressing the various aspects of clients' needs. Provide immediate crisis intervention to clients in acute distress, utilizing de-escalation techniques and appropriate support mechanisms. Stay current on best practices in marriage and family therapy, participating in ongoing professional development and training. Advocate for clients' rights and empower them to make informed decisions regarding their treatment while fostering a culture of self-care and resilience. Patient Population / Client Focus In this role, you will work with a wide range of clients, including children, teens, adults, and couples, each presenting unique challenges and strengths. Your work will involve addressing diverse mental health concerns, such as anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and trauma. Establishing rapport and understanding your clients’ backgrounds will be crucial to facilitating effective treatment and fostering long-lasting therapeutic relationships. Qualifications A Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field is required. Possession of an active license to practice as a Marriage and Family Therapist from the State Board. Demonstrable experience in providing both individual and couples therapy, showcasing a breadth of therapeutic modalities. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems. Preferred Experience Previous experience working with a diverse clientele, including both children and adults, is highly valued. Familiarity with crisis intervention techniques and a solid understanding of best practices in the mental health field. Compensation and Benefits In recognition of your expertise and dedication, we offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
