Several contract-based positions are available to assist students across multiple campuses, with ongoing opportunities that suit a variety of backgrounds. Current openings include a Resource Instructional Assistant role at an elementary campus, and multiple positions supporting special education students—including opportunities in settings serving medically fragile children and students on the autism spectrum.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Prior experience as a paraprofessional or instructional assistant in school settings.
• Strong background working with students with special needs, especially those who are medically fragile or exhibit behavioral challenges.
• Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and classroom support strategies.
• Ability to provide compassionate and individualized support to diverse learners.
• Team-oriented mindset and excellent communication skills.
• Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support classroom instruction under the guidance of certified teachers and specialists.
• Assist with academic activities, sensory needs, and personal care (as needed) for students with varying abilities.
• Help maintain classroom organization and structure for optimal learning.
• Collaborate with staff, therapists, and family members to meet student needs.
• Implement behavior support plans and monitor student progress.
• Adapt to new assignments as new needs are identified within the district.
