Human Resources Generalist

HR Generalist As a Human Resources Generalist, you will help Encompass team members with benefits, employee relations, and payroll questions. You will serve as the primary point of contact for the Clifton Park Fulfillment Center, champion our culture, and lead culture initiatives. Responsibilities Provide ongoing support and fast response to all employee relations inquiries requiring deep subject‑matter knowledge (e.g., employee complaints, investigations, counseling, coaching, leave of absence, exit interviews). Serve as the primary contact for all HR‑related questions (benefits, payroll, employee relations). Perform thorough investigations in a timely manner. Lead a variety of projects and initiatives (culture events, wellness programs, HR reports, implementations, process improvement). Lead and facilitate the change management process. Utilize HRIS (Ceridian Dayforce) and work‑management tracking tool (Jira) in day‑to‑day activities. Provide recruiting support as needed, including sourcing, interviewing, hiring events, and onboarding talent. Assist the Human Resources Team with special projects and initiatives. You are an Employee Relations expert able to handle investigations, coaching, performance management, and difficult conversations with ease. You love supporting team members within a distribution center environment. You can adapt to and drive change in a fast‑paced setting, helping others move through the change curve. You are self‑driven and detail‑oriented. You have a passion for tackling challenges head‑on. You thrive in a fast‑paced environment. You are a 5‑star communicator, connecting easily with others and following up timely on team‑member requests. You are an Excel pro—spreadsheets tell stories to you and help you formulate a plan. Salary range for this role is $60,000 ‑ $70,000 annually, based on qualifications, experience, and location. Encompass is a pay‑for‑performance company.
