Job Title: Seasonal Pick Lead
Employment Type: Seasonal/Temporary
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Start Date: Mid-October
Location: Gastonia

Schedule: Associates can choose from one of the following rotating schedules:

Schedule A
Week 1: Sunday–Wednesday, 6:00 AM–4:00 PM
Week 2: Sunday–Tuesday, 6:00 AM–4:00 PM

Schedule B
Week 1: Thursday–Saturday, 6:00 AM–4:00 PM
Week 2: Wednesday–Saturday, 6:00 AM–4:00 PM

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dependable Seasonal Pick Lead to help oversee daily picking operations in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This position will work alongside the picking team to ensure orders are picked accurately, productivity expectations are maintained, and workflow remains organized and efficient. The Pick Lead will provide direction and support to team members while communicating operational needs or concerns to warehouse management. Previous RF scanner and warehouse picking experience is required. Bilingual English/Spanish skills are preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide daily direction and support to associates assigned to the picking area

• Assist with coordinating workflow and assigning picking tasks based on operational needs

• Use an RF scanner to locate, scan, track, and verify products

• Ensure orders are picked accurately and efficiently

• Monitor workflow and help the team meet daily productivity and accuracy expectations

• Verify correct products and quantities are being picked

• Identify picking or inventory discrepancies and communicate issues to appropriate leadership

• Assist with training and coaching seasonal picking associates on proper procedures

• Reinforce warehouse safety, quality, and productivity standards

• Maintain an organized picking area and help ensure product moves efficiently through the fulfillment process

• Communicate staffing, productivity, quality, and workflow concerns to management

• Work alongside the team and assist with picking orders as needed

• Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• Previous warehouse picking/order fulfillment experience required

• Previous RF scanner experience required

• Previous lead, trainer, or team leadership experience preferred

• Strong understanding of warehouse picking processes and order accuracy

• Ability to provide clear direction and work effectively with a team

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adjust priorities as needed

• Dependable attendance and ability to report to work as scheduled

• Ability to work the assigned rotating schedule, including weekends

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous warehouse lead or supervisory experience

• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

• Experience training or onboarding warehouse associates

• Experience working in a high-volume order fulfillment environment

Physical & Work Environment Requirements:

• Must be able to stand and walk for the duration of the shift

• Ability to frequently bend, reach, twist, and move throughout the warehouse

• Ability to perform repetitive picking and material-handling activities

• Must be comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment

• Ability to work in a physically active, fast-paced environment
