Field Service Technician California, CA, United States Responsibilities Operate and maintain oxygen and nitrogen production plants at customer sites safely, reliably, and efficiently Perform preventative and predictive maintenance, calibrations, and equipment servicing Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve plant operational and process issues Manage site operations independently to meet production targets, reliability goals, and contract requirements Plan and coordinate maintenance outages and turnarounds Organize resources for maintenance work and compliance audits Read and interpret P&IDs and electrical schematic diagrams Complete required self‑paced training to build technical knowledge and job competency Manage plant maintenance budgets and perform monthly customer billing tasks Maintain a safe, clean, and organized facility Drive a service truck up to 2 or 3 hours per day and up to 8 hours on occasion Travel as needed for operations support and training Assist in training and development of new employees Demonstrate strong organization, independence, and problem‑solving skills in a dynamic work environment Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in a technical field preferred Experience with air separation plants, compressors, pumps, motors, valves, or manufacturing operations preferred Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills Knowledge of instrumentation, including measuring, controlling, and analyzing process variables Willingness to participate in an on‑call rotation, including weekdays and weekends Ability to travel occasionally, including overnight, for support and training Capable of pushing, pulling, moving, and lifting up to 75 lbs Pay commensurate with experience.
