Job Title: MERN Stack Solution Architect Location: Remote Employment Type: Full-Time Duration: Full-Time Priority: Urgent / Critical Requirement

We are seeking an experienced MERN Stack Solution Architect to lead complex software initiatives from initial scoping and requirements gathering through deployment and post-launch evaluation. The ideal candidate will combine strong hands-on full-stack development expertise with technical leadership, system architecture, Agile delivery, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

The candidate should have extensive software engineering experience and a proven ability to design scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js) .

• Drive the lifecycle of complex software initiatives from initial scoping and requirements gathering through deployment and post-launch evaluation .
• Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, and retrospectives .
• Track team velocity, capacity, sprint health, and overall delivery progress.
• Serve as the primary bridge between Engineering, Product, Design, and Business teams , translating business objectives into technical execution.
• Actively contribute high-quality, production-ready code across the full MERN stack.
• Lead technical system design and evaluate architectural trade-offs to deliver scalable, secure, reliable, and performant solutions .
• Conduct rigorous code reviews and establish engineering best practices.
• Champion automated testing, CI/CD, and modern software development practices .
• Debug complex full-stack issues, optimize database queries, and support resolution of production incidents.
• Identify technical and project blockers, manage cross-team dependencies, and help protect the development team from scope creep.
• Mentor engineers and foster a culture of continuous learning, technical excellence, and collaboration .
• Provide technical guidance and architectural direction throughout the software development lifecycle.

• 12+ years of professional software engineering experience .
• At least 3+ years of deep hands-on experience with the MERN stack .
• At least 3+ years of experience in a Technical Program Manager, Engineering Manager, Technical Lead, or similar technical leadership capacity .
• Strong expertise in React.js , including state management frameworks such as Redux and Context API .
• Strong hands-on experience with Node.js and Express.js backend development.
• Strong experience with MongoDB , database design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Proven experience designing and implementing scalable and secure software architectures .
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure .
• Experience with Docker and containerized application deployments .
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices .
• Proven experience managing Agile/Scrum or Kanban workflows .
• Experience with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Linear, Asana, or similar platforms .
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders and leadership .

• Experience leading distributed or remote engineering teams.
• Experience with large-scale, cloud-native applications.
• Strong understanding of application security, performance optimization, and reliability.
• Experience establishing engineering standards, development processes, and technical best practices.
• Proven experience mentoring senior and junior engineers.
