Practice Supervisor, Express Care

Support the Natick and Newton Express Care centers Report to the Senior Operations Manager Oversee day-to-day operations of the outpatient practices Supervise Medical Assistants, Rad Techs, and front desk staff Recruit, hire, evaluate, train, and develop support staff Provide day-to-day supervision and direction to support staff Assign work and monitor performance Monitor and coordinate managed care and billing functions, including referrals, insurance verification, registration, cash collection, encounter forms, and billing Assess and manage patient scheduling, wait times, staff coverage, ancillary tests, follow-up appointments, phone systems, transcription services, and volume issues Oversee purchase orders, petty cash, and check requests Maintain and order office supplies and equipment Provide cross coverage and assistance in all areas as needed Requirements High School Diploma or Equivalent required Associate's Degree in Related Field of Study preferred Supervisory experience: 0-1 year required Experience working in an academic healthcare environment: 2-3 years required Ability to work onsite Availability for additional coverage as needed, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Ability to cross cover and take on additional responsibilities Experience with recruiting, hiring, evaluating, training, and developing support staff Experience supervising clinical support staff and managing practice operations Core Competencies Demonstrates strong operational oversight in outpatient practices, with expertise in supervising clinical support staff, managing patient scheduling, and coordinating billing functions.
