Director, PGS and Enterprise Solutions Data Management & Engineering

Pfizer seeks a Director to lead data management and engineering for its Global Supply organization, overseeing data pipeline operations, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance across manufacturing and supply chain systems in a GxP-regulated environment.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and operate data pipeline and integration estate connecting source systems to enterprise consumption
Lead data quality engineering including rule definition, anomaly detection, and remediation across the estate
Ensure pipelines and data products meet 21 CFR Part 11, EU GMP Annex 11, GAMP 5, and data integrity requirements
Build, lead, and develop distributed engineering teams across multiple geographies with recruitment and succession planning
Partner with Data, Analytics & AI Transformation organization and Digital solution teams to establish DataOps practices

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field
8+ years progressive experience with 3+ years leading technical teams
Demonstrated ownership of enterprise-scale data pipeline and integration estates
Strong expertise in data quality engineering, lineage, and observability practices
Experience leading distributed teams across multiple geographies and time zones
Proven ability to manage partner and vendor delivery alongside internal resources
Strong communication skills explaining technical concepts to senior non-technical stakeholders
