During this travel role, you'll work in a state-of-the-art medical center renowned for its leadership in pediatric care, advanced technology, and commitment to fostering professional development. With exposure to pediatric hematology and oncology, including high-volume patient care and specialized treatment modalities, you will enhance your clinical skills and benefit from a highly collaborative and supportive team culture.


Schedule/Hours:

• 7a-7p shifts
• 6-week schedule cycles
• Every other weekend rotation
• No on-call requirement
• Expect to work 75% of holidays

Desired Qualifications:

• Active RN license
• Minimum 1 year acute care in pediatric hem/oncology
• BLS required, PALS preferred
• APHON chemo certification required
• Strong pediatric assessment, central line management, chemo administration skills
• Open to first-time travelers with strong pediatric background

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct patient care for pediatric hematology/oncology and adolescent medicine populations
• Monitor and manage central lines, administer chemotherapy, and perform comprehensive pediatric assessments
• Collaborate closely with CNAs, charge nurses, and multidisciplinary professionals (hospitalist, intensivist, RT, and more)
• Utilize advanced hospital technology (Epic, Alaris IV pumps, Omnicell)
• Float within unit (except Peds ED) for consistent care delivery
