Position Overview

This is an autonomous APP position where the Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will be the only provider on-site.

The provider will have remote support from:

• Supervising Physician
• Lead APP / Medical Director
• Support available by phone as needed

Each APP is supported by a Medical Assistant who assists with patient visits, charting, and documentation.

Patient Volume

• Average: 15 to 20 patients per day
• Patient population: All ages
• Primarily low-acuity, routine medical care
• Dedicated patient panel

Primary Responsibilities

The APP will provide routine primary and urgent care services, including:

• Routine primary care
• Annual physical examinations
• Sick visits
• Minor injury care
• Sports physicals
• Employment physicals
• Vaccinations
• Other routine, low-acuity medical services

Required Qualifications

• Active California Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
• Must be able to see patients of all ages
• Must be fluent in Spanish
• Minimum 2 years of Family Medicine experience
• 3+ years of Primary Care or Urgent Care experience preferred
• 3+ years of medical practice experience
